This website is operated by the Wychwoods Local History Society.
The Society researches, records, preserves and shares information about the history of the Wychwoods and surrounding area.

2. A volunteer-run Society
The Wychwoods Local History Society is run by volunteers.
The website and archive are maintained as part of the Society’s voluntary local-history work and are not operated as a commercial service or professional archival institution.
We aim to respond to enquiries, maintain the website, review corrections and update archive information as promptly as reasonably possible, but response times may vary according to volunteer availability and the nature of the enquiry.
Historical descriptions, identifications and catalogue information are prepared in good faith from the records and information available to us. The archive has been assembled over many years from a wide range of sources and may therefore contain incomplete, uncertain or incorrect information.
We welcome corrections, additional information and relevant local knowledge.

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that information published on the website is accurate.

The Society’s online archives have been made available primarily to support research, education and public access to local history.
Automated extraction, bulk downloading or systematic copying of substantial quantities of material is not permitted without prior agreement where this would place an unreasonable load on the website, circumvent technical restrictions or interfere with copyright or other rights.
